Frequently Asked Questions
What is Google Sheets?
Google Sheets is a free, cloud-based spreadsheet application by Google. It works like Microsoft Excel but lives online, so you can access it from anywhere, share it with your team, and edit it in real time.
What is a spreadsheet?
A spreadsheet is a digital document made up of rows and columns (like a table). Each cell can hold data — text, numbers, dates, etc. Google Sheets is a popular spreadsheet tool. When EasyClick Automation syncs your leads to a spreadsheet, each lead becomes a row with columns for name, email, phone, message, timestamp, and any other form fields.
What is a Hosted Form?
A Hosted Form is a web form created and hosted by EasyClick Automation that you can share with customers. It has its own public URL (e.g. easyclickautomation.com/f/your-business/contact-us) and can also be embedded on your website. When someone submits the form, their information is saved as a lead in your dashboard, and automations like auto-reply emails, owner notifications, and Google Sheet sync are triggered automatically.
Why should I connect my Hosted Form to Google Sheets?
Connecting to Google Sheets gives you a live backup of every lead in a familiar spreadsheet format. Benefits include: • Instant access to all leads without logging into EasyClick Automation. • Easy sharing with team members or accountants. • Use Google Sheets features like filters, charts, and formulas on your lead data. • Export to CSV or Excel anytime. • Automatic — new leads appear as rows the moment they submit your form.
How do I connect to Google Sheets?
1. Go to Settings > Integrations and click "Connect Google Account". Sign in with Google and grant access. 2. Go to your dashboard and open the form you want to sync. 3. In the form editor, scroll to the "Google Sheets Sync" section. 4. Toggle "Auto-sync leads to Google Sheets" on. 5. Either select an existing spreadsheet from the list, or type a name and click "Create new spreadsheet". Important: You must connect your Google account in Settings > Integrations before the Google Sheets Sync section will appear in the form editor.
Can I connect more than one Google spreadsheet to my Hosted Form?
No. Each Hosted Form can be linked to one Google spreadsheet at a time. If you want to use a different spreadsheet, unlink the current one first, then link the new one. Each form can have its own separate spreadsheet.
Will a spreadsheet be created for me?
Yes. When you click "Create new spreadsheet" in the Google Sheets Sync section of your form editor, EasyClick Automation will automatically create a new Google spreadsheet in your Google Drive, set up the headers (Timestamp, Name, Email, etc.), and link it to your form. You don't need to create anything manually.
Can I change the tab name in my linked spreadsheet?
We recommend that you do not rename or reorder the first tab in your linked spreadsheet. EasyClick Automation always syncs leads to the first tab of the spreadsheet. While the system will attempt to detect the correct tab, renaming or reordering tabs may cause sync issues. If you need a different tab name, unlink the spreadsheet and create a new one.
What does '10 automations' mean?
It means you can have up to 10 active automation rules running at once. For example, 'email when row is added' is 1 automation. 'Remind before due date' is another. Each rule you turn on counts as 1.
What counts as 'rows/month'?
Each time an automation processes a row (e.g., sends an email triggered by a new row), that counts as 1 row processed. Your plan sets the monthly limit.
Do I need to know Google Apps Script?
No. EasyClick Automation replaces the need for scripts. You just connect your Sheet and pick automations — everything runs without code.
Can I connect multiple Google Sheets?
Yes. The number of Sheets you can connect depends on your plan. The free plan includes 1 Sheet.
What happens when I hit my limit?
Automations pause until the next billing cycle. You'll get a notification before hitting your limit so you can upgrade if needed.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. No contracts, cancel anytime.
